Why you should upgrade to Windows 10
When Windows 10 was released a lot of people were sceptically for some good reasons.
Let’s get back in time a little bit for a moment.
Windows XP was awesome, that’s a fact! And with Windows 7 Microsoft did a extremely good job in providing us with a successor. Everybody was happy and Windows was the working horse everybody was looking for. But then there was Windows 8, which was a necessary step to accomplish the growing needs on mobile usage, but, let’s face it, there were some problems.
The biggest of all – the missing start button.
Just kidding. But for real, there was some incompatibly and users were not ready yet for the new way of interacting with there operating system. Microsoft learned from it and release the all mighty Windows 10.
But people were warily now. Some important devices (like printers) and softwares didn’t work like they should and the public tenor was “Don’t update yet. Wait till everything is working fine!”
And here we are. That time has come.
Windows 10 is perfectly fine now and you should update today!
Let’s check how you can upgrade to Windows 10 from your current Installation.
Upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows 8
I am not sure if its possible to still run Windows 8 without getting forced updating to Windows 8.1 (at least when your online with that machine) but just in case you really on Windows 8 – you need to update to Windows 8.1 before you’re eligible to update to Windows 10.
Upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows 7
Windows 7 was a great operating system and did a awesome job for years. Give it a rest and remember it as the friend it was.
Upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows XP
Microsoft XP was the game changer. Stable, sexy and secure. What else did we need? But time changes and if you are still using Windows XP and are not a Industrial Machine you should really upgrade.
The bad news are, with Windows XP you can’t upgrade to Windows 10 directly. But to be honest, that isn’t so bad really. The architecture of both systems are completely different and even if it would be possible, we would highly suggest you make a clean Installation of Windows 10 instead.
Upgrade to Windows 10 for free
Everybody is looking for the best deal so of course we try to get Windows 10 as cheap as possible. And if its even free, heck yeahr – we’re in!
Microsoft will not publish any Windows 11, so Windows 10 will be with us for a long time. That said, you can guess they are highly interested to upgrade everybody to Windows 10 as easy as possible.
We guess it’s because of that, that there are still some possibilities to get Windows 10 completely for free.
You can even use your Windows 7 and Windows 8, 8.1 Keys to make a clean Install of Windows 10 and activate that installation without any problems.
In case you don’t have any old Windows License and need to buy Windows 10, you should definitely get the download version, so you get the installation code right away.
